We put about 12 layers of fiberglass over the plug to make a mold for the hull.  Here we are having just pulled the mold apart.  Such an exciting event!

Here we are inspecting the hull mold after pulling it off the plug.  It had a few flaws here and there but altogether we were quite pleased.

That's a really nice project, Damon!
Since this is just the mold, what was the material of the hull itself? Was it solid or hollow?
Thanks.

Hi Ross,
Thanks! The hull itself was blue insulation foam covered in fiberglass. The mold was pulled off of this hull. I actually never used the mold after that. I was going to make two or three hulls but then time and money ran short and I just decided to use the first hull.
